Health through Food is run by Diane Stephenson. Diane is a graduate of the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London and is a fully qualified and insured Nutritional Therapist. She is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy (BANT) the professional body for Nutritional therapists and is registered with the Complementary Natural Healthcare Commission (CNHC), the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.
As a member of BANT and the CNHC we follow and abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics, and the BANT Professional Practice Handbook
She has advised on a broad spectrum of health disorders in a wide range of individuals.
Diane has an extensive knowledge of the nutritional aspects of all matters relating to health and wellbeing and enjoys helping people see the benefits of applying the principles of Nutritional Therapy.
Having been a senior manager for a multinational company she understands only too well the nature of stress and deadlines, eating badly, working late and feeling permanently exhausted.
Having struggled with her weight for many years she lost 12 stones (or 76 kilograms for the imperially challenged) through applying the principles of healthy eating over a 3 year period and is now a keen runner and enjoys a wide variety of different kinds of exercise.
